Anthony DeNaro a.k.a. Ynot started dancing at the age of 17 and was mainly influenced by James Brown. He is a member of the legendary dance troup known as the Rock Steady Crew. He is most known for his rhythmic approach to the dance which has earned him respect from his peers and pioneers such as Crazy Legs and Mr. Wiggles. Through his humble nature and love of the art form he focuses on traveling and teaching workshops in studios and schools across the US and the world. He has also toured with theatre groups such as Rennie Harris Pure Movement and has worked with such artists such as Moby and KRS One. Ynot has built up a reputation as an inspirational dancer of today and dedicates his time to sharing the knowledge he has gained on his path through his career.
YNOT’s world is one where dance, design, love for music, hip-hop culture and desire collide.
The driving force of YNOT is to become fully connected to his art and share what is so deeply woven to his character and soul with the world.
Trained at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, he graduated with a bachelors degree in computer science and animation. He has worked on numerous Graphic Design jobs, and is currently working on a his first gallery show of his works as well as his debut in music production.
In addition to his multi-media artistry, YNOT is world-renowned for popularizing the raw, stand-up, art of b-boyin’ called Top Rock.
He has built up quite a reputation as an inspirational dancer of today and dedicates his time to sharing the knowledge he has gained on his path through his career.
YNOT is also a member of the Legendary troupe The Rock Steady Crew, and continues to maintain his status in the world hip-hop scene by innovating and developing his skills.
